This is the view across the marshes from the back of the house... nothing but wide open space... with sails moving across the horizon.
There is a well stocked general stores 100 yards from the house. There is also a restaurant (The Wayfarers) which serves excellent lunches and dinners if you prefer to eat out. In Ludham village ( about 1.5 miles away) there is an excellent butcher, Al Fresco Tea rooms and the King's Arms pub. The Crown Inn at Catfield (10 minutes drive) is run by a well known Italian restauranteur and serves delicious lasagne and exquisite profiteroles !!
Practically on the River Ant, Willow Fen is ideally situated for exploring the Norfolk Broads. Walks, cycle trails and boat trips!
The historic semi-walled city of
Sandy beaches are about 20 minutes drive away.
